A touch of control
Danfoss Link touch display unit con-
trols a whole range of devices, includ-
ing radiator thermostats, hydronic
and electric oor heating devices and
heat pumps. Because all elements in
the system come from Danfoss, they
are fully compatible and very simple
to install.
Danfoss Link integrates easily with the
heating system. It regulates heating
throughout a home – simply, eective-
ly, wirelessly, from one central point. As
a central interface for the entire heat-
ing system, Danfoss Link enables ‘heat
scheduling’. This ensures that indi-
vidual room temperatures will always
match heating need at any given hour
of the day. Danfoss Link also enables
the Danfoss heat pump, oor heating
and thermostats to ‘talk’ to each other.
By knowing the exact need for heat-
ing inside the house, the Danfoss heat
pump is always running in an optimal
way, providing additional energy sav-
ings and comfort due to fewer temper-
ature uctuations in the house.
Balancing is everything
The key to greater comfort and re-
duced energy consumption is to
match the temperature in the heating
system to the heating requirements of
the building. This can be done eec-
tively by energy ecient stand-alone
components. Adding electronic con-
trols, such as weather compensators,
radiator thermostats and oor heating
controls, creates even better results.
Comfort is in the air
Fresh air and cooling are often just as
important as heating. In a new build-
ing, a heat recovery ventilation sys-
tem is vital to ensure both fresh air
and minimum energy consumption.
If your customer is renovating a house
and insulating it, they will probably
experience a problem with moist air
and a lack of fresh air, as their house
becomes ‘tighter’. Heat recovery ven-
tilation will be required to solve this
problem.
A good heat recovery ventilation sys-
tem not only ensures an optimum
indoor climate but also allows for so-
called ‘passive cooling’ during warm
weather.
Linking products in heating systems to optimize
energy use, heat delivery and comfort.
